Two years ago, we were sitting over a plate of tacos in Northern Colorado, feeling defeated.
As a nurse (Allie) and a mama (Katie), we were no strangers to the "label-reading" life. We had spent years trying every "gentle" cream on the market to soothe stubborn eczema and persistent diaper rashes. But no matter how many organic certifications a bottle had, the results were the same: temporary relief followed by more dryness, more irritation, and more money down the drain.
We didn't set out to start a skincare company. We just wanted a product that didn't force us to compromise between clinical effectiveness and non-toxic purity.
When we couldn't find it, we decided to build it. We moved from the kitchen table to what we call our "Alchemist Lab." Allie brought her clinical understanding of the skin barrier, and Katie brought the organizational fire to ensure we never settled for "good enough."
We spent months perfecting what we now call our Alchemized Process. We knew that to be the gold standard, we had to control every step. That meant triple-rendering and micron-filtering our tallow in-house to ensure it was as pure as it was potent.

Today, we’ve packed nearly 800 orders for families just like ours. What started as a quest for our own children has turned into a community of "gatekeepers" who are hellbent on finding the highest quality clean products.
We’ve cried, we’ve had hand cramps from labeling, and we’ve celebrated every "my child finally slept through the night without itching" email we receive. We are still "babies" in this business with really big dreams, but our standard will never change.
